“To pause in His presence…”
Taking time to slow down and intentionally meet our Creator is integral to who we are at Selah Academy. So much so, that we made it our name! “Selah” can be translated as “to pause in His presence.”
Our philosophy
We build rhythms of pausing into our daily routines by allowing ample transition time between activities, working through Catechesis of the Good Shepard, praying before meals, and more.
By making these practices habit, we hope to prepare students to quiet their hearts before God in an increasingly busy world.
